My
custom pet portraits can be described as vivid, expressive and humourous.

Because of this, they are more whimsical than photographic or realistic, as
you can see from my gallery of previous work. Please be aware of this. My style of art is vivid and fun.
I believe my portraits are perfect for capturing, immortalizing, or honouring your faithful friend for generations.
New or old, here or no longer living. It is my belief that if your pet is no longer with us, they should be
remembered by the happy times, still smiling and spoiled as ever.
I highly encourage you to share your pet's personality along with any inquiries!.
Stories, silly photos and anything else you can think of are welcomed.
What are your favourite aspects about your pet?. His richly coloured eyes, or
her cute button nose?. This helps me get a feel for your pet's overall composition, and greatly
influences the outcome.
Mediums
I currently do portraiture in acrylic on gallerywrapped canvas, in various sizes.
Although I am willing to work with you and try to accommodate any size you may have in mind, my typical
and most common choices can be found under my pet portrait prices.
Surfaces for paintings are limited to stretched gallery wrapped canvas, which does not require framing or matting. Gallery wrapped canvas come prewired for instant hanging the
moment you receive your portrait. The sides are ½" to ¾" inch, which allow them to be painted at your request
in order to match any decor. As the artist I retain all copy and reproduction rights to my artwork, although you will receive and own the original painting.
Completion
Turnaround time is typically 14 business days per portrait or less, depending on size and complexity. This figure
excludes weekends and holidays. I have a limited availability per month and may or may not have a waiting list ahead of you.
My portraits are completed on a first come first serve basis. If the list is full, I would be
glad to contact you once current orders are finished, although this does not guarantee you a spot if
you do not reserve one within 3 days of being notified. Although you would have no obligation or commitment to
order, this is just so you are aware I have an opening in my schedule and a chance for you to take it.
Your Photographs
If you have photographs of your pets you are free to send them in digitally
by email, or by snail mail (although digital is preferred). In order to provide the best portraiture capable photos
of your pet, please take a look at my pet photography tips for useful tidbits. By submitting any photographs,
you are in agreement that if you are not the original photographer you have been given prior permission to let me use the photographs as general reference for your pet portrait commission.
All photographs will be returned within shipment of the completed portrait.
Payment
I require a 50% non-refundable deposit when I accept your commission, due right before I
begin the painting. After completion I will email you a digital photograph of the piece,
where you will have the opportunity to suggest minor changes. Once changes are made,
if any, I will invoice you with the remaining balance due and prepare your item for
shipping. Shipping charges will be additional, $8 USD for USPS Priority. Please contact
me for quotes regarding non-Continental US orders.
Payment can be made by PayPal or by money order, which is the only method I
accept at this time. With PayPal it's easy to send money to a variety of recipients without sharing
your financial information. This means sellers will never see your credit card number or bank information.
Invoice and information will be sent to you at the time of your order. No checks are accepted.
I hope that covered everything. Feel free to ask any more questions by
Contacting me using my online form or by email.
Remember - you have no obligation to order just for receiving additional information.
